* Bondaseal Clear / Jotun Ravilakk Varnish Combination

In building up bright work from well prepared bare wood, we apply 3 coats of Bondaseal, then 3 coats of Ravilakk. The Bondaseal provides a tough primer base and can be applied almost coat on coat (wait until a dry finger print can be left on the previous coat). The first coat of Ravilakk can be applied over the last coat of Bondaseal in the same fashion. This gives 4 chemically bonded coats of finish that will have built up a decent film thickness. If you are short on time, this gives you an alternative from the 'thin the first coat of varnish 50/50, then one coat per day' method.
