'Silver Heels' is a fourteen foot carvel, centre plate dinghy thought to be built in 1898 by McBride, East Cowes. Her owner, Mr Sears, bought her when he was in his teens and he is now over 80! His son and daughter have commissioned us to restore her over this coming Winter so that she can be sailed next spring.

The work to restore 'Silver Heels' progresses with new thwart knees, risers and repairs to garboard planks.

Our long term resident 'Silver Heels' is nearing completion, now with side benches permanently refitted and completely repainted and re-varnished inside and out.
