'Makeway' is probably the only 'Mark 2' Emsworth One Design class still sailing. She was restored several years ago by Emsworth Sailing Club members David and Sylvie Townsend and is much loved and much sailed.

The photos show 'Makeway's' lines being lofted full size from a table of offsets created when we borrowed the boat for a couple of days before she was put back in the water last spring. The idea is to create a permanent record of the boat's lines, a copy of which will be given to Emsworth Museum.

Who knows? In the future, maybe enough interest in the class may be generated for a new fleet of EOD's to sail once again from Emsworth!
