'Hatty' is an Illingworth
Top hat Class. Her hull, deck and super
structure were built by Souters of Cowes in the
early 1970's and then her first owner proceeded
to fit her out and equip her to a peerless
standard of design, finish and mind boggling
attention to detail. She is a truly 'concours'
example!
Her ownership passed to
Bob Humberstone about a year ago and shortly
after, her first owner passed away. It almost
seemed like he would not leave this world until
he had found a worthy successor to take care of
'Hatty'.
